Chilling stories and then the klutzes goof around with running jokes for which they absolutely apologise to no one and ask you to like and subscribe if you are offended. The challenge is not to laugh out loud with these guys.
I completely agree with what you said in the “oak island” episode, we do in fact NEED a freemasons episode. However…..
I need that episode to be filled with Nicolas cage impressions.
Thank you (2 out of 2 wolves agree)
Ruined all other podcasts for me. The story telling and cinematics are top tier. I appreciate how they tie the biblical response /thinking up in a bow.
Would definitely love to see an episode on the Rothschild’s
I listen to a lot of shows in this genre, and always felt that Haunted Cosmos was by far the best, because Brian and Ben are such good storytellers. However, as hosts, they have become insufferable. They just ramble on unfunny, arrogant, and insensitive nonsense during the non storytelling parts of the show. They double down on it too. They cling to their unfunny jokes at the expense of their art and portrayal of faith.

The show blends paranormal folklore, religious interpretation, and skeptical inquiry with humor and banter. Episodes frequently explore haunted histories, cryptid lore, and supernatural phenomena through a Christian lens, often weighing spiritual explanations against scientific or skeptical viewpoints while weaving in personal anecdotes, historical context, and cultural analysis. A standout is the consistent use of vivid storytelling, cross-cutting narratives, and the hosts' willingness to broach controversial topics with warmth and humor, which helps make esoteric subjects approachable for a broad audience.
