One of the most brilliant podcasts I’ve ever listened to. Thank you for being a prophetic voice in this era of darkness. Salute you for your work. 🫡❤️
I am appreciating being introduced to new voices thru your podcast. As a white professor of intercultural studies I continue to want to unpack whiteness and how whiteness influences the way I teach and what I teach. My students will be reading your latest book next semester. It would be great to have you join us sometime next semester!
Profane faith is a thought-provoking podcast that centers diverse voices that we need right now as the church in the US. Unfiltered but careful and precise in its helpful criticisms of how the church in the US continues to feed the destructive idol of white nationalism.

This podcast is not for the faint of heart, but it is for a lot of us whose hearts have been hurt by systemic racism in the church.
So many vital topics, so many diverse voices, and a balance of advocacy, encouragement, and profound insight. Just wish I had more time to listen.

The format often blends personal narrative with critical analysis of racism, capitalism, and the role of faith communities in public life, making it a strong fit for listeners who want thoughtful, unapologetic discussions on how culture and spirituality shape society. A standout trait is how it consistently elevates marginalized voices, q... more
