  • Chemistry check: off the charts!

I absolutely love Podstruck! It is so fun to walk through all my favorite recent and back-in-the-day romcoms. But more importantly, the friendship chemistry between Elena and Chelsea is off the charts amazing. I love that they have an opposites attract vibe—Elena has kind of a worldly LA background while Chelsea brings the midwestern charm (and picky eating!). They have unique perspectives and disagree about a lot of aspects of movies, but they do it in a feisty, supportive, and charming way. It... more

  • For true fans of the art of the rom-com

I stumbled into this podcast through several other romance-adjacent pods that fell flat for me; I started listening at episode 3 and haven’t missed one since! This show is for people who genuinely and unironically love rom-coms. It’s so refreshing to not be made to feel stupid or immature over your unabashed pride of the genre. Chelsea and Elena call out what hasn’t aged well (or was maybe never even good to start with), while still being funny and lighthearted enough to quickly become one of my... more
