EP #12 - Griffin Long on God’s Work Through Special Needs
Q: How can we pray for you, for your family, for Sacred Ground?
Wisdom and continued discernment to say no to some opportunities and yes to those that align with the mission, while growing the organization thoughtfully with strong staff and community support.
EP #44 - Regenerative Agriculture, Plant Immunity, and Faithful Stewardship
Q: What is the core philosophy behind regenerating soil and crops, beyond chasing a single solution?
A holistic approach that addresses soil health, mineral balance, microbiome balance, and plant signaling, rather than chasing a silver bullet, with the aim of creating resilient systems that reduce the need for chemical inputs.
EP #44 - Regenerative Agriculture, Plant Immunity, and Faithful Stewardship
Q: How did Advancing Eco Agriculture (AEA) begin and what guided its approach?
The method grew from a curiosity about why two similar fields reacted so differently to powdery mildew, leading to the Plant Health Pyramid and a belief that a plant's immune system, microbiome, and mineral balance are key to disease resistance.
EP #45 - Missions, Adoption, Loss, and God’s Faithfulness
Q: What was the most challenging decision you faced during the pregnancy and why did you choose to continue the pregnancy?
The hardest decision was balancing medical safety with faith perspectives; after serious discussions with doctors and family, we chose to fight for the life of the baby, trusting the Lord and relying on medical care in Guatemala rather than moving to the States where ethical decisions would be made differently.
EP #28 - An Amish Preacher and a Former Real Estate Guru Walk Into a Hospital
Q: Can I ask a question?
Yes, the group discusses how to balance traditional hospital care with holistic, community-driven approaches, emphasizing patient choice and system-wide reform.
