The narrator carries this reading of Jane Austin’s wonderful novel ‘Persuasion’. He never falters. Yet the character voices that chime in from time to time are not that great. Weird accents, misreading of characters, they are not great. Fortunately the lovely voice of the narrator is 90% of the recording.
