I really enjoy Karen Savage's crisp and precise reading (check out her Mansfield Park, also on LibriVox) but the absence of the early chapters is annoying. Were they lost? Can Karen be Persuaded to (re-) récord them?

I find the podcasts useful for my summer reading of persuasion, but I find it soooooooooo annoying that it doesn't start with chapters 1-3. I've been looking for them, but they are apparently nonexistent.

This is the best Librivox recording I've listened to so far. Karen Savage reads naturally and brings the characters to life effortlessly. The ordering of the files also facilitates playback - good thinking! I'll be looking out for other recordings from Karen.
