    Became aware of PTM (and Tyler and Dr. Tisby by extension) in 2016 as I, a white boy, became aware of the state of modern racial reality in the furor of the first Trump administration. Tyler and Jemar disarmed my presuppositions about the nature of the Black experience in the 21st century and have vastly expanded my understanding to that end.
