Running a fake punt on the first drive of the 3rd quarter was NOTHING like a Jimmy "Pork Face Satan" Johnson. In '85, knowing it was Gerry Faust's last game, Johnson went way out of his way trying to humiliate Notre Dame in the 4th quarter, blocking a punt & passing to a 58-7 pasting. To this day my middle finger twitches every time I see Johnson's mug on TV. On the road, especially with our defense, the game was far from decided in the 3rd quarter.

On a personal note, My 4 year old just started tee-ball. We practice hitting off the tee every night. He hasn’t fielded a single ground ball or even put on his glove. He practices the way winners do: all batting all the time.
Thanks! Of all my parasocial relationships, you guys are my favorite. Go Irish!
These guys are going to give you the absolute best break down and preview of every Irish victory this season. They may do episodes after losses, as it seems like they might do this podcast for a living, but typically I just pray for their health after losses because I’m sure they take it as hard as I do.
I apologize because this should’ve been an off season review because it’s week 1 and we need you alls hard hitting analysis of the game that hasn’t happened yet, so feel free to ignore the res... more
