  • Without Fail

I want to like this show, but the host constantly butchering the pronunciation of players names makes it borderline unlistenable.

I can handle Mike when he is with Jaime bc Jaime can balance the negative and not feed into it. Just had a show with Christian over recruiting and it was “The Sky is Falling” Mike show. Let Christian do his thing and stay on topic.

  • Spiraling down

Someone needs to remind Mike that it’s not the Mike Frank show. The amount of times he interrupts is maddening and the points he attempts to string together are pathetic. They also seem to be looking at Tommy reese with rose tinted glasses. The man was a frustrating play caller that belongs at a low power five job. Parker isn’t the guy for PC and freeman needs to either grow up fast or head for the door. I’d like to hear more from Jamie without interruption.

Why does Matt sound like he doesn’t want to be there? Dude , pick up the energy level a bit. Your penchant for downplaying every point you make is irritating. Also, please for the love of god stop ending every sentence with “....right? ....”. I get it - that seems to be a generational\hip , nuanced style of talking but man is it irritating.

  • Strong Show/Negative attitude

The show content is strong especially with C McCullum and Jaime. MIke Frank is heavily slanted towards only seeing he negative. Should be more balanced. According to him ND is always lacking in all aspects. Opening music is horrible. Sounds like a middle school garage band

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Invasion and Official Visits 6-1-26 Power Hour
Q: What about the role of the defensive line depth and potential position changes—could players move around to fit needs?
The discussion notes that the defensive end group is deep enough that moving players like Cole Mullins to other spots isn't likely, and the staff will likely keep players in their current or expected roles to maximize depth and performance, with rotation decisions driven by injuries and training camp performance.
Invasion and Official Visits 6-1-26 Power Hour
Q: Without the recruiting game evolving, how is Notre Dame systematically building relationships with agents?
The hosts explain that agents act as important advisors and navigators for families, helping to build trust and communicate the program's value, avenues for development, and post-football opportunities; strong agent relationships can significantly influence recruitment outcomes.
Irish Parent, D.J. Rezac, Joins the Show 5-18-26 Power Hour
Q: What was it like navigating multiple sports and the decision to focus on football for Teddy and Anthony?
The parent explains that focus, passion, and mental toughness are key. The kids should pursue their true passion, but diversify when possible to gain experience; eventually, they may specialize as needed. The coach/parent dynamic emphasized balance between supporting their kids and letting them make their own path.
DB hire, LB coaching search and your questions 2-2-26 Power Hour
Q: What are the challenges with losing coaches to the NFL?
It's tough to replace quality coaches but it's a good problem to have since it means they are recognized for their talents.
DB hire, LB coaching search and your questions 2-2-26 Power Hour
Q: Do you think the coaching changes will affect the team's performance this season?
Yes, but I believe they have hired good coaches who have a strong team to work with.
