  • Unlistenable

If this was actually about NE Lacrosse it’d be great. I can’t listen to Kyle talk about himself anymore. I care a lot about New England lacrosse and really want to follow this podcast but it’s legitimately unlistenable. Does this guy not have supervisors?…

  • Great but where are the women?

Would be great to see some female voices elevated - it’s a bummer to see the NE Lacrosse journal only bring in male coaches and only focus on boys teams. What a huge missed opportunity to showcase the entire sport in the region.

  • So glad I found this podcast

I mean the title says it all. This is by far my favorite lacrosse podcast. I’m local to New England so its especially interesting to me. Even if you are not from the area, the insight and guests the guys have on this show are amazing. This is the podcast I’ve been looking for and you have delivered! Keep doing the excellent job you are and this game will grow. Both hosts are great ambassadors of the game and I look forward to every episode.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Medfield Coach John Isaf
Q: What are some of the games that you're like, man, I wish I could have that one better?
John mentions a memorable game from last year against Citroët and reflects on a past game where they lost after leading with a minute and a half left.
Matt Chandik of the National Lacrosse Federation
Q: Where do you see the growth pattern working in the companies you've worked for?
I believe more media engagement and storytelling content will attract attention to the sport as more people want to participate in lacrosse events.
Matt Chandik of the National Lacrosse Federation
Q: Can you share your favorite part of what you do?
My favorite part is telling players' stories and learning about what makes them unique, rather than just focusing on stats or skills.
Matt Chandik of the National Lacrosse Federation
Q: Would you say that you think it's becoming more accessible to the outside world?
Yes, I think the popularity of lacrosse is growing across the country, but the high costs still create barriers for many families.
Matt Chandik of the National Lacrosse Federation
Q: How did you get into that? What was your initial interest in media and then specifically lacrosse?
I started writing in college covering basketball, then moved into covering wrestling and lacrosse. My background in hockey helped me connect with lacrosse later on.
