  • Great info. Poor audio quality. Slow pace.

Great Blues info from a well respected journalist. No frills and frequently monotone. Microphone audio quality could use an upgrade.

  • No more Net Front Presence for ME!

I love the Blues, but we’ve moved from the area in 2013 and I used to listen to the Net Front Presence, BUT NO MORE! Now that you have to subscribe to the Post Dispatch to hear their opinion. I’M DONE with the podcast. Adios greedy owners!

  • Kyrou-Mile Hoffman

Love the show! Last pod you guys were discussing Kyrou and trying to draw parallels of players who just have talent coming out of their ears and just never put it all together. The name that immediately popped into my mind was Mike Hoffman who briefly played here.

Guy can score goals he has everywhere he has played but always leave fans and coaches wanting more and has a bit of a sketchy attitude? That screams Kyrou at this point in his career. Scary thought but am I close?

  • A perfect weekly listen

My favorite Blues podcast. Was great when it was JT, TT, and Gordo, but think Matthew and Gordo have an ideal chemistry. Gordo has an excellent history-of-the-Blues and the league perspective and Matthew adds a ton of interesting, newer stats and trends to think about. Good stuff fellas

He brought the fresh air the team needed, changing the dynamics and connecting with the younger players.
Jim Montgomery Week: Verbal spat with Jordan Binnington, then return to Boston
Q: How would you characterize the Jim Montgomery era?
Complicated, maybe Matt is the right word. Bit of a roller coaster with key roles in a record setting season.
Taking listener questions as Blues miss opportunities on five-game road trip
Q: Why is Nick Bjugstad sitting out?
It likely comes down to playing style and the competition for spots in the lineup, as he does not fit the physical identity desired for certain lines.

Q: When can we expect contract extensions for Broberg and Holloway?
There is no rush for extensions as they are RFAs, with control over contracts likely helping to time the extensions better based on market conditions.

Q: What would be the barriers to moving the AHL affiliate to St. Louis?
Geography poses the biggest barrier as it allows for lower travel costs for Springfield, while ownership decisions also impact potential moves.
