The story is over…'Nameless'' reign of terror is over. The supporting cast rebuild their lives…but who's that vigilante on the rooftops? What else is waiting in the shadows? And who is the Saviour?
First there were three, and then there were two. This is Harry's last case and the threat of 'Nameless' has become far too great to be allowed to live. The reluctant vigilante won't allow anyone to stop him, not even a man he greatly respects. This w... more
It's a three-way face-off. 'Nameless' vs. Harry Roberts vs. Frank Bryce. All different when it comes to views, but also more alike than one may think. Unless it's rock, paper, scissors. It's endgame.
'Nameless' has arrived…and Judgement Day is upon Bryce and his criminal empire. Ring-a-ring-a-rosies…
Blood enemies Harry Roberts and Frank Bryce come face-to-face after so many years. Their conversation is one of mutual hatred, needless to say…as 'Nameless' approaches.
Bryce makes his demands. He wants Harry, his money and his life. The detective knows this, and so does 'Nameless'. It's undoubtedly a trap, but not the obvious kind.
I enjoyed this book immensely. The storyline was thought provoking, read with enthusiasm & inflection, lots of action. listen to additional works in iTunes by this author!
Keep it coming, mr. Wood! Thanks!
I am interested in the Sequel called the Saviour - I hope it is selling well.
However, I have had some real issues downloading episodes.
These are very ingrossing they are well written and well read
This was a really brilliant novel and I can't wait to listen to the second book! Great work D. C. ;)
D.C. Wood has written and performed a really gripping and chilling tale here. It touches upon so many morals and 'what ifs', making one wonder about the problems of crime and corruption and the notion of vigilantism. "Nameless" is a really scary antagonist and you'll really care for Harry Roberts.
A great audiobook to listen to for free! And look forward to reading The Saviour!
I listen to a lot of podcasts and this one ranks at the top with a few others. The author's reading style is right on.
Mr. Wood's narration and story line kept my interest from the beginning to end. I did not want to stop listening to this story! It will be a regular listen as I go throughout my day as I search for words that I may have missed; and love the accent. He didn't have any special effects, only wondeful writing. I hope to see many more.
I liked your audiobook/graphic Novel...even though it wasn't graphic. The audio gave us the picture, clearly, and I feel it didn't need any audio effects to bring the story to life. I was guessing all the way through who Nameless was, maybe I have it now, probably I don't. Sorry to say, I did figure out who the mole was a few chapters before Harry did. Still, all in all, a good story with well defined characters. Keep up the good writing, not only for those who enjoy an iPod, but those of us who... more
