  • This mother son episode is inspiring

I get so much inspiration from Julie’s interviews, but the recent episode with Julie and her 20 year old neurodivergent son Ryan gave me a glimpse into her parenting journey with all their challenges and achievements. As a listener I have heard Ryan speak before, but this Milestone Hike revisited episode showed me how hard they have worked as a family and how mature Ryan has become. Ryan is very brave. It is refreshing to listen to him acknowledge his challenges and hear how he pushes throu... more

  • Worth a listen

I always learn something new and come away uplifted. My favorites have been the interview with her father and her work with the Parents Circle.

  • Phenomenal podcast for mothers (and others)!

I just listened to the phenomenal episode with Valarie Kaur. I was just so moved by it. I was familiar with Valarie Kaur's work before but it had been awhile. This conversation was what I needed to hear today. I will probably even relisten because so many moments were pure gold. Thank you for this powerful conversation. And the many others on this podcast that preceded it. This podcast makes motherhood feel less lonely and less invisible.
