Ken is a long-time retirement planner in Dallas. He works with a lot of older folks. Doesn’t focus on returns, isn’t a flashy guy trying to make a lot of money. He’s down to earth, just help older folk protect their assets. And he puts his money where his mouth is. He does a lot of philanthropic work for the Alzheimer’s Association, not because he knows someone who has it, but because it hits the kind of people he’s worked with his whole career. For years, I’ve listened to the broadcast, and the childish jokes are just getting old. I wish he would be more specific discuss yields in lieu of his projections.
This is the podcast version of the weekend AM radio infomercial for Retirement Planners of America. I find the show to have valuable insights, and Ken takes a logical approach to near term market forecasting for people who could have their lives ruined by a bear market.
This has really good content, and he has good insights, but spends half the time trying to sell his own company. At the beginning and end of every segment he sells what his firm can do.
