  • Trump support and financial mix. No thanks

A very odd combo of a Trump social network founder talking financials, supposedly focused on happiness. I found it odd and “off”. I don’t trust firebrand politics on any side mixed with financial info.

  • Truth Social, really?

Honestly, I have enjoyed his segments on Clark Howard, so I subscribed. I am disappointed to read what I have about his money making political interests. Clark Howard is very not political, so I feel a little misled. I don't know what to think about this.

Q: Lara in Florida asked how to allocate a large, lump-sum income from contingencies for near-term needs and future growth, including tax considerations and retirement planning.
Wes advised dividing funds into accessible cash for 12–24 months to smooth irregular income, setting up a firm-level retirement plan if applicable, and then investing remaining funds in a tax-efficient brokerage approach with a long time horizon, all while keeping taxes in mind via safe-harbor strategies.
