Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Living Fully in this Tragic World, Part 1 - Conversation with Eric Sanzone
Q: You talk about the process. Can you summarize the three steps?
The three-step process is to feel your feelings, tell the truth about your feelings to God, self, and others, and then trust God with the process, which moves you from control to surrender.
Therapy in the ICU - Interview with Michael's Acute Care DPT, Steelie Szycher
Q: Like, if you could speak to us, what would you want us to know?
I'd want families to understand the scope of our training and the importance of balance—promoting movement while respecting medical stability, and recognizing that quiet, structured visitation supports healing rather than hindering it.
Therapy in the ICU - Interview with Michael's Acute Care DPT, Steelie Szycher
Q: So get into, first give me some of your background. Who are you? How did you get here? And then I'll transition into when we met.
I trained as a physical therapist, focusing on critical care and ICU mobility, and I built a career around helping patients recover function after severe medical events, with a strong emphasis on meeting them where they are medically and physically.
