I love listening to your podcast and hearing the perspectives you both have on Bill Gothard, IBLP, and the abuse that happened with those teachings. I especially enjoyed the recent episode on the Amish and their cultish teachings as someone who has many distant Amish relatives.
I grew up watching 19 Kids and Counting and seeing how “happy” everyone looked until the truth started coming out about Gothard, IBLP, and more. Jinger, I respect you and your sister Jill so much for your testimonies and... more
Jinger and Jeremy are a refreshing light in the podcast world. Their honesty and down to earth approach are appreciated, making them a joy to listen to. In a world filled with purposeful deception, the Gothard podcast powerfully brought to the forefront just how easily people can be manipulated and misled. I pray many people listen to this episode especially, and wake up to the truth before it’s too late.
Jeremy and jinger thank you for clearly speaking truth! The truth of Christ and the heart issue. It is sad to see but Satan is hitting marriages and families big time. I suffer from my daughter cutting me off completely from my grandchildren. She does not want them to learn about God. Biggest hurt of my life.
Your family is high profile so Satan has to try to destroy. Using the phony Bill G religion made it pretty easy for him.
You two are on the right and narrow path. Stay str... more
Enjoyed the interview with Jeremy about soccer. However, Jinger! How many “that’s crazy” “that’s wild” “that’s insane” phrases are you going to use? Over a dozen? Mix it up please! And Jeremy, yes, a sport may feel like “going war” but it’s not. Think it, but don’t say that out loud. All in all though, you are well intentioned and that’s what counts.
I love Jinger and Jeremy’s biblical worldview and how that comes through everything they discuss! Content is typically somewhat lighthearted and always family friendly, which I love
