just fantastic
Oh, this is one of my favorite podcasts. They do a great job of talking about history of the LGBTQ I a plus community as well as the people who came before or just listen and learn.
This series had some interesting content, but I was turned off by the 2-3 minute ad for the Patreon at the beginning of each episode; . IMO it gets to be a bit much because it sounds like "My real content is behind a paywall." Also not a fan of "Hey girlies!" at the beginning of many episodes because the host crusaded to have Boystown's banners removed because the term was "gendered," so it'd be nice if they didn't go gendering the audience, event if it's meant to be playful camp.
Thank you for your incredible research and synthesis. You help to bring history not only to a more inclusive reality of the past but to bring it alive! I am writing my thesis on queer economics during the civil rights / gay (+queer) liberation era and your podcast has been inspiring to keep me on track and entertained! đ€ I get giddy when I hear sources Iâve read and trialled though acted out. Keep up the great work đ„°đ„°
