Having come out of the same IBLP cult as Christy, I find her views on life and Christianity so familiar. Highly recommend this pod, and can’t wait to read Religious Rebels!
Refreshingly honest and straight forward. These discussions about who God really is, contrasted with what religion has made Him to be, are thought provoking and reassuring. I look forward to each episode. 🙂
I personally know and love this woman! God is doing powerful things through my sister in Christ! My favorite take-away from the podcasts thus far is the highlighting of the human tendency to create and cling to legalism. Adam and Eve "Hid & Did" as their first reaction to sin, but God's first reaction was to pursue his children. Great thing to remember.
