The dire sadness of this story is only tempered by the empathy with which it is told. I wish the boys’ parents could hear it and know their precious sons are still important. I hope the family has respite, peace, and resolution.
While telling of a sad and continuing family tragedy, this podcast includes no real investigative work. It follows tangents while failing to ask probing questions.
Who did it? Has anyone ever tried to search or investigate the neighbor’s basement? What are the legal hurdles and has anyone tried to overcome them?
If there is no way to answer these questions or to try to present compelling theories, perhaps this could have been a one or two episode podcast.
