Upgraded in March 2026. because of some focus shifts.
I think Apple Podcasts is not the preferred place to listen now though. The YouTube channel is superior.
It would be nice to see the podcast adopt a presence that accommodates all people’s perspectives and does not only accommodate to a clique group of friends and their interests. The experience of seeing Pearl Jam is anyone’s who attends.
This podcast is great insight to live Pearl Jam shows. Weather you, someone you know, Randy or Javy themselves attended the show they are reviewing or not, these guys breakdown Pearl Jam performances from the most recent to the early days and do it well with great insight to the bands history. And that Gear Guru knows his stuff!!

As a new PJ fan, I’m enjoying listening to this pod and then watching the shows online after hearing the in depth analysis. Great job and thank you!
Downgraded in July 2025 because of some focus shifts. Seeming to stray from the consistency and message and focus of the podcast. They may need to consider other voices or adjustments to keep the consistency. It doesn’t mean the newer focus materials are bad but it lessens the need for the patreon as it encroaches on what the patreon had going on and what other Pearl Jam podcasts do. Doesn’t seem to have the direction it once did.
