  • Omg a Pearl Jam podcast

Don’t know why it never occurred to me that someone would have one. Which I found them years ago. Something made me think to check a couple weeks ago.

When I say I was a huge PJ fan most of my life… I had a personalized license plate back in the 90’s. This is amazing. I’ve been missing so much since I stopped paying attention and this makes me feel like getting a Spin or Rolling Stone magazine again

  • A must for Peal Jam fans

Such a great podcast for Pearl Jam fans. Jason and Paul do a great job of reviewing and analyzing the band in so many ways. I especially enjoy their Retro Reviews (I keep track of their scores and compare them to mine and my friends’) and their Playlists episode. This podcast, as well as the band itself, has helped me through tough times. Thanks Jason and Paul!!

  • Timeless band. Great podcast.

This podcast is a walk down memory lane (I was 15 on 8/27/91) and fresh insight into a band I love. Pearl Jam never disappoints and neither do Jason and Paul.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mailbag & Dark Matter Over/Under
Q: How likely is it now that the band is gonna roll into a greatest hits or wind down mode and just tour for a few more years versus having a new record?
Pearl Jam is not the type of band that would wind down quietly; they enjoy creating new music and maintaining a connection with fans.
Mailbag & Dark Matter Over/Under
Q: Thoughts when we might get a new single or one from the vault release or a Lost Dogs 2?
The next thing we might get would be a Lost Dogs 2, as it's been 12 years since the first one and Stone has mentioned there's more material.
Mailbag & Dark Matter Over/Under
Q: What about Steve Gorman, Black Crows for a drummer?
While he has the chops, I don't think they have the personal relationships that are necessary for a band looking for a new member.
Mailbag & Dark Matter Over/Under
Q: When do we get another concert film? Is it a Dark Matter tour film?
I absolutely want one. The band films everything, so a concert film could be possible, but it depends on the band's willingness to invest in it.
Mailbag & Dark Matter Over/Under
Q: Will the Giants go get a playmaker and make a run at the division, or at least the wild card?
Theoretically, the trade for Rafael Devers qualifies as going for a playmaker, but it depends on the team's performance after the break.
