Hi,
I was wondering where exactly are we in our galaxy? Like, how close to the center, etc.
Emma age 12
Also, why do humans have snot? What is it used for in your body?
Oh yeah, and ALSO, why do climate deniers go to such trouble to ‘prove’ that climate change isn’t real?
Also, what is it about spiders that scares people?
This podcast features many female researches, writers and scientists. Thank you for that emphasis.
Great content, informativ and thrilling. Thanks for making, thanks for sharing:)
Curious how you do your research. The program on beer used out-dated theory and taste map of the tongue. There are many different receptors everywhere on the human tongue and it's an easy DIY experiment. Also, have you never had a sweet before drinking something sweet like orange juice? The primed sweet sensation amplifies the sour/bitter in OJ, not reduce it as Jeanna claimed. Why didn't you girls just try it before recording the ep?? Im seriously doubting your data on all other episodes now... more
I love the detail of the topics. Your personalities and voices are very enjoyable. I hope this podcast never ends!
This info is offered nowhere else and in layman’s terms, with no commercial drama.
These experts give us the info we need exactly when needed
I like the topics however the hosts say “you know” way too much.
What a shame...
No lunar core?
We have means of sending crafts to possible alien planted up to 30 LY away?
The normal podcast is great! Very fun to listen to and the information is quite accurate.
The coronavirus episodes were great but now they’re just bad. We get new info which I really like, but she has to explain everything in such dumbed down terms. Then we get to the questions part of the podcast and she takes the dumbest questions that were already answered months ago. I swear the people that submit questions have never read an article in their life and this is the lazy way to get their ques... more
Great podcast
One of the hosts sounds conversational, enthusiastic, confident about what she’s saying and it’s great to listen to her. The other host sounds like she’s reading word for word from her paper(which she is) and makes it harder to listen to. No enthusiasm and I’m really not sure if she has a clue what she’s taking about or if it was a paper handed to her last minute.
You could do so much better.
Extremely easy to digest. Their tone and inflections are great for audio listening. I enjoy that they don’t interject their politics into the facts of the subjects they cover. As long as it stays/seems like this opinion I will continue to listen to.
Interesting topics but 10 or 15 minutes of content in each 45 minute episode. Could be educational, intriguing and even amusing but find I'm only listening to a few and only if I have the skip-forward button handy.
Informative, insightful and light hearted. No incessant bantering and I appreciate that both hosts have good chemistry and always get to the point!
