  • Anything but sponsored content?

I’ve now tried listening to 4-5 episodes and unfortunately every time I’m met with the same thought. “Is this just a window for company’s to get exposure?”

For me it seems too obvious that the subjects discussed are dictated by what companies wanting exposure and not matters that’s relevant for me as a leader in supply chain.

535: Experience A New Industry Standard In The Yard, with Terminal Industries
Q: What differentiates YOS from traditional YMS or other solutions?
YOS is AI native and agentic—designed to manage real-time movement with deterministic rules, not just a digital log. It integrates CV, devices, and workflows into a single live system that tells people what to do, when to do it, and where to do it, reducing blind spots and enabling a system-wide, end-to-end orchestration from gate to dock.
535: Experience A New Industry Standard In The Yard, with Terminal Industries
Q: Who is your ideal customer and how do you determine fit?
Our ideal customer profile starts with large or multi-site operations with warehouses over 250,000 square feet and 20-plus moves per day, but we also tailor ROI models for mid-tier and smaller sites. We can scale across sites by ROI and pricing to fit different site footprints, and we focus on those who need end-to-end yard movement optimization rather than siloed functionality.
535: Experience A New Industry Standard In The Yard, with Terminal Industries
Q: Give us an overview of Terminal Industries and how you help customers.
Terminal Industries is reimagining yard logistics with a true AI-native platform that spans gate, yard, and dock. We're building an enterprise-first, end-to-end solution—our Yard Operating System—that replaces the patchwork of WMS/TMS and numerous point solutions with a single, configurable system designed for high-velocity sites and multi-site networks. We emphasize co-creation with strategic investors and operators to ensure the platform fits real-world workflows.
536: Prevent Supply Disruptions and Protect Revenue, with FourKites
Q: What is the first thing inbound teams should look at to move away from spreadsheets and phone calls toward a proactive workflow?
The host asks for a starting point, and Stephen advises first qualifying and quantifying the level of pain and the tolerance across the internal execution ecosystem, then identifying whether the root cause lies with supplier data, process cadence, or document flow, before moving to data harmonization and automation.
536: Prevent Supply Disruptions and Protect Revenue, with FourKites
Q: According to an MIT project, by how much could you cut transportation costs by leveraging coordinated inbound logistics using shared data, strategic consolidation hubs, and dynamic fleet planning?
Stephen suggests the potential savings are substantial, with a rough guestimate around 60% in this conversation, reflecting the magnitude of impact possible with coordinated inbound logistics and shared data.
