  • Idk what planet this show covers...

Here on Earth 1, the economy very OBVIOUSLY SUCKS. The experts and segments are so out of touch that it's almost unlistenable. If you can't see that a LOT of folks are struggling then you really should dig deeper.🫤

Used to love this podcast, but it’s become too depressing and feels like it’s just pushing an agenda anymore. Too bad

  • I never miss an episode

I’ve been a daily listener of Marketplace for years, and it’s one of the few podcasts I never miss. As someone who follows markets and the economy closely, I appreciate how the show consistently breaks down complex, often dry economic topics into stories that are clear, relevant, and actually enjoyable to listen to.

Kai Ryssdal’s delivery is a big part of what makes it work—smart, approachable, and just the right amount of humor to keep things engaging without losing the substance. The show doe... more

  • Do you think we’re stupid? Just another media outlet gaslighting Americans about the economy

4.3% has nothing to do with the amount of Americans who are unemployed and underemployed and you know it. How do you record a story about unemployment without mentioning the massive rolling layoffs of the past year? You all have taken to lying about the economy to paint a rosy picture and that’s unacceptable for a show specifically reporting on it.
