  • Hell hath no fury like an ex-Hillsong adherent!

Interesting podcast, in that it exposes Hillsong for what it is/was. Sadly, most of those interviewed don’t really have any understanding of Christianity as established by the person of Jesus Christ, which is completely opposite to Hillsong teaching. Houston and his leadership team/influencers has done so much damage to the name of Jesus, but in fact Hillsong is it’s own religion and it should not be aligned with Christianity. It is, in fact, Hillsong Houstonianism, because adherents worshipped ... more

  • Hi from the American Midwest!

***Update: EPISODE 17, Wow! This young lady seems to have that true heart for Christ. Her desires in attending were not self seeking but truly seeking that deeper relationship with Christ. I must say, her heart for hearing/seeing/doing the truth of scripture really shines a light on what is right and wrong with Hillsong. • The early episodes are best

The early episodes of this pod, where Tanya interviews others about their stories from Hillsong are interesting, but over the past 6 months or so, the focus has shifted to commentary in real time on the Rolodex of Hillsong scandals. This has tipped the balance a bit too much into speculation about what’s going on and how various parts of the law may apply to the situation.

  • Truth telling is worth it

This podcast is unflinching. They know the truth and the host and insider guests aren’t afraid to reveal it.

They bravely cast a spotlight into the dark corners of Hillsong teachings and its leaders’ behaviours. Very illuminating.

I didn’t grow up in a Hillsong setting or even any real weekly church attendance. It was very much just an Easter and Christmas family.
