  • Cover Art Change?

I’ve listened to this podcast for years now and love it! However, I do wish they would change the cover art back to the black and white image it was before, or something else less distracting. Unfortunately whenever I share these podcasts with someone now, I have to try and explain that the cover art does not reflect the value of the recordings or the main focus of the content.

  • Absolutely love the teachings!

Please consider shortening the introductions to two minutes or less so that Ram Daas’ teachings become the main attraction. The interpretation of the talk should be left to the listener.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 277 – Across the Decades: Ram Dass on Service and Social Action
Q: How do you create a balance of working on yourself at the same time you are taking actions in the world?
The key is karma yoga; see every interaction as part of a spiritual path and engage without attachment to outcomes.
Ep. 275 – Working With Truth in Relationships
Q: Is there a difference between marriage and just living together?
It depends on cultural context; in some cultures, marriage is a lifelong commitment while in others, it can be more casual.
Ep. 270 – Ram Dass and Stephen Levine: Transforming Negative Energy
Q: How does society's reaction to AIDS affect me?
People can only take incremental steps in opening to your pain; it's a teaching for you. Observe how you may close as they do and practice forgiveness to keep your heart open.
Ep. 270 – Ram Dass and Stephen Levine: Transforming Negative Energy
Q: What can I do for my brothers who see this as an indictment or death sentence?
The answer to your question is in being, not doing. You cannot convince anyone else; you can only be it. Your being will draw others to trust not in your words, but in your essence.
Ep. 270 – Ram Dass and Stephen Levine: Transforming Negative Energy
Q: How to be with another person who is afraid?
You can't do it to them, but you can create an environment in which another person can do it for themselves. That's a much relieving role for a person that is with somebody that is suffering or frightened.
