Most often when we talk about doing "shadow work," we usually focus on pains, wounds, and fears that we've tucked away (in our shadow). We don't see them until we do this kind of inner work but they affect our lives in harmful ways. Carl Jung opened ... more

Love Latter-Day Faith! You can be yourself here.
I’m sorry, but I’ve listened to as many Mormon-themed podcasts as I can. Boomer men and women to Zoomer gals and guys. This is simply the best. It may take you a while to find the episodes which appeal to you. But if you’re interested in Mormonism, you will find something beautiful. And intellectually fulfilling. Extraordinary work.
This podcast as well as Dan’s previous one (Mormon Matters) gave me much needed direction at a difficult time in my life. It continues to challenge me to go big. I love hanging out with Dan and his guests. Thanks Dan!
Dan has a unique ability to approach, wrestle with, and articulate deeply rich topics with an ease that makes it feel as though you’re talking with a friend. It’s a lost art, particularly given the tone of current discourse. Highly recommend.
In episode 147, Mark Crego says “Jesus would be considered a Marxist/Communist by today’s standards.” Are you kidding? Christ wasn’t trying to create a political revolution. “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s.” He came to conquer sin and death, not to kill landowners. A glance at the Marxist revolutions of the 20th century should be enough to keep anyone from equating Marxism with the Son of God. Careless theology.
