  • Great show great topic!

So good to talk to a soul sister! I could have talked to Kandas forever. She asked great questions that hopefully provided answers to other women starting over at forty or contemplating taking a chance on themselves in business. I would have loved to have people like Kandas cheering me on when I felt like I was the only person who believed in me. We "mature" ladies need to stick together, and Gratitude Geek podcast is a great place to land. Today I was "seen."

301: 5 Goal-Setting Shifts You Need Before 2026 | Deb Eckerling
Q: What is the Deb Method and why does Deb dislike smart goals?
The Deb Method reframes goal setting around mission, options, and plan, arguing that smart goals focus on output rather than what you actually want to build in life, so the method helps ensure alignment and meaningful progress.
305: How to Actually Make Money as a Podcast Guest (Without a Huge Audience) | Jessica Rhodes
Q: In this past 12 years, how has podcasting evolved in terms of what's available for guesting?
Podcasting has shifted from mostly audio-only, Skype-based guesting to video-enabled formats with clips and repurposing across platforms; audiences have diversified to niche shows where targeted messaging and strong host relationships matter more than chasing massive audiences.
Public Relations for Small Business Owners | Lauren Kwedar Cockerell
Q: What does the audience need to know about you and your credentials?
Lauren explains her firm, Kwedar and Co., its mission to help customers uncover what makes their work special, and how she partners with clients to craft authentic narratives that resonate with prospective media and customers.
Your Broken Money Story Is Robbing You Blind | Bill Cates
Q: Okay, Bill, how do you weave gratitude into your business strategy?
Bill explains that gratitude starts with recognizing your own value, continually refining your messaging to stay relevant, and using affirmations and daily practices to rewire the mindset. He emphasizes charging appropriately, serving the right who with empathy, and using gratitude to drive generosity and sustainable profitability.
Video Storytelling: Real Stories Win Clients | Graham Kuhn
Q: Why focus on authentic, non-scripted storytelling instead of traditional polished production?
