Jo’s bravery seem endless. As do the mistakes by the health professionals before her cancer was discovered. All the very best, Jo.
And as for those (sometimes strangers) who ask about her prognosis? Treat rudeness with rudeness and tell them to F#¥k off. Life is too short to tolerate fools. And it only encourages them!
You are incredible, Jo. Your humour is infectious and the “over sharing” is spot on. It is who you are and by doing this podcast you are giving others permission to be who they are on their own journey. I especially love your advice on how people can talk with those who have cancer. I am proud of you!
With love xx
Arohanui Jo. Thanks for telling this very personal story.
