  • Doesn't work

The podcasts don't actually load - after you download an episode all the loads is a document with a screen capture. There is no link and no audio. Unless I'm doing something wrong this is a total waste of time.

Sponsored EP. 02: Turn Data Into Action | Enlyte Podcast
Q: If you could leave the audience with one practical takeaway, what would it be?
Across all lines, it's essential to move beyond generic medical bill review as a cost tool and treat it as a strategic capability, leveraging data-driven insights and predictive analytics to prevent overpayments and reduce litigation risk.
Sponsored EP. 02: Turn Data Into Action | Enlyte Podcast
Q: What one or two key takeaways should leaders keep in mind as the landscape continually evolves?
Leaders should prioritize consolidating claims platforms, investing in consolidated provider analytics, and using AI-driven review processes to proactively manage claims across lines of business, while ensuring a human remains in the loop to guide decisions.
Sponsored EP. 02: Turn Data Into Action | Enlyte Podcast
Q: What are the early indicators that a claim might become more complex over time?
Early indicators include delays in initial treatment, gaps in care, emerging technologies with price variability, and rapid cost increases due to medical inflation, plus the challenge of out-of-network provider billing and evolving fee schedules that complicate payment determinations.
Sponsored EP. 02: Turn Data Into Action | Enlyte Podcast
Q: Michelle, when it comes to claims complexity, can you define what that term means?
Claims complexity reflects how many medical, legal, factual, and regulatory elements must be analyzed to determine liability, causation, damages, and appropriate payment, and it grows with higher claim severity, aggressive billing, and increased litigation pressure.
Sponsored EP. 01: Turn Data Into Action | Enlyte Podcast
Q: Can you explain the confounding factors influencing claims outcomes?
Confounding factors are variables like obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and behavioral health that influence claim duration, severity, and costs. Identifying these early allows for targeted treatment and better management, reducing long-term costs.
