Very welcoming, warm presentation. Terrific earth-based and nature science subjects. Very interesting and informative discussions that are usually correct, with some great insights but sometimes get distracted and state outdated, disproven theories and unfounded opinions (eg. bumble bee flight mechanics and incorrectly attributing extinction of dinosaurs, among others). Fact checking before publishing & editing old mistakes in published recordings would make this podcast terrific.
A great dynamic between the two regular hosts, with Mike representing the audience and asking questions and Gavin giving the answers as the "expert" in the subject.
Then there are the episode where it switches around and Mike teaches Gavin about people and events from human history.
I found this podcast through the Spotlight series on Common Descent so if you enjoy this then go and give that a listen as well.
