  • My FAV!!

I can’t put into words how much I love these girls. I’ve tried all the cleaning podcast and this one by far gives me the most useful knowledge to apply. I put my headphones on when I clean and binge listen to the shows. I find myself stopping constantly to add something else into a note on my phone to look at later or implement into my own business! You guys are a game changer!!!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

119. Solo, but Scaling: How To Become a Household Name ft. Candace Young 🏠
Q: What is your best piece of advice for listeners looking to start or grow a solo cleaning business?
Keep things simple and fun; avoid overcomplication, build a local brand that people know and trust, and use community involvement (free cleans, sponsorships) to stand out rather than relying solely on paid ads.
119. Solo, but Scaling: How To Become a Household Name ft. Candace Young 🏠
Q: What makes your coaching program different for solo cleaners specifically?
The program is tailored to solo cleaners, focusing on branding, price positioning, client relationships, and scalable micro-services like high-value coaching and private sessions, rather than expanding into a full-scale company with employees.
119. Solo, but Scaling: How To Become a Household Name ft. Candace Young 🏠
Q: How did you get started in the cleaning business and what drew you to coaching solo cleaners?
Candace fell into cleaning starting from a genuine love for the work and helping people, building her business through word-of-mouth, and discovered a need for coaching solo cleaners who want to optimize their operations without growing into a full employee-based empire.
128. Crunching the Chaos: Getting Real About Business Numbers ft. Kristina Hind 💰
Q: But even if someone is listening and they want to know where to start, do you recommend having two separate bank accounts from day one?
Yes. If possible, open a business bank account early and keep personal and business finances separate to improve tracking and accountability. For mixed situations, use an accountable plan to reimburse business expenses and get clear on what portion is deductible.
135. Off Duty, On Purpose: Getting Rid of Mom Guilt for Good
Q: Do you have to be a mom to go to your events?
Not at all. The events welcome any woman seeking to improve mental health, find hobbies, or gain inspiration and motivation, not just moms.
