Human/Ordinary is back in 2024 with a series of short docos. Sam will spend two weeks floundering and then release whatever he has on Friday night of the second week. They'll mostly be personal journals that touch on our culture, our relationships, and the extraordinary feat of being alive.

A day late with this one, which pretty much exposes me as breaking my own rules. The idea was that I'd upload at the end of the two weeks whatever I had. But truth is, I didn't have anything.

Sometimes, things don't go to plan. I've had a two week stretch that started well, but then nothing really panned out.
I had some work on that then got postponed, which meant the idea I had for Human/Ordinary couldn't be realised.

I’m so happy you’re back xx
This is an excellent podcast, made worse by lack of a skilled engineer. Moderator can often barely be heard, music and other voices are all over the place. Stories are great, excellent writing and journalism. Fix the constant volume issues and you have a terrific podcast.
Riveting. I’ve devoured many episodes in one sitting. Thank you!
I have no idea who this podcaster is or what his background is but he has such a natural instinct for how to put a podcast together, what listeners want and such an empathy that comes out that I’ve loved every episode that I’ve listened to. Headstones 2, about his grandfather is once in a lifetime special.
I loved listening to the program about Jane Matthews. What a wonderful record of the achievements of this inspiring life.
