Great podcast, engaging and historically accurate.
Should be noted that Dr. Jason Hansen is a (liberal?) Zionist & very invested in Israeli apologetics. Hansen amplifies any tiny good-faith flicker of social justice efforts on the part of individual Israelis and tries desperately to both-sides everything else. Also repeats debunked claims re: sexual assault, which deeply calls into question either his research skills or judgement. Came here ISO a solid history of the PLO and why the PA is so loathed today; looking now with hardy side-eye.
