Ours is a romance not merely a pastime. Water Fowl hunting and the right to hunt in general is a fragile balance of pursuit, conservation and honor. In order to preserve this worthy ethic, we must learn about those who came before us. Well done Dr. Capooth.
I truly appreciate his dedication to telling these important stories of our duck hunting history and heritage. When those stories stop being told, they eventually disappear. It’s part of how we got where we are now and important for younger generations like myself to understand and appreciate where we came from as duck hunters.
