  • Stumbles. Boring.

Wanted to love this so much, but the host just reads, and not very well, over her notes. Nothing new and great. Within the first 4 minutes, she’s stumbled over, and had to re say words. Hard to follow because she doesn’t know what she’s saying.

Understanding Addiction & Recovery: Insights from Tom Horvath
Q: How do mutual-help groups compare, like Smart Recovery vs. AA?

Understanding Addiction & Recovery: Insights from Tom Horvath
Q: What is the biggest public misunderstanding about addiction and recovery?
Addiction is often seen as about lack of willpower, but it fundamentally involves seeking pleasure and meaning through patterns that are hard to break; recovery hinges on finding greater meaning, purpose, and connection that can replace the old rewards.
