  • Disappointing episode

As a regular listener I was very disappointed with the new episode (Oct 25). I was hoping for a celebration of Father Figure and how Taylor’s song will hopefully bring in a new audience to the brilliance of George. I was hoping for a comparison of the 2 songs. These things did come eventually. But first we had to endure a 25 MINUTE irrelevant deep dive into Bruce Springsteen. A tenuous link was attempted to justify this but surely 2-3 minutes would have sufficed. 25 MINUTES in a specialist podca... more

  • Love it!

As a long time GM fan it’s nice to relive his songs and hear the analysis. As a child I would listen to the words but I never sat down and heard what he was saying. As an adult to listen now gives the songs a whole new meaning. Today was the first time I listened to the podcast and I enjoyed the conversation between Matt and Julie. They complimented each other well and made the pod cast enjoyable and engaging. Well done. Looking forward to many more episodes.

I think this was a really good idea to spin a wheel and randomly choose a song of George Michael’s to rate.

But it’s been drawn out over time with many breaks that we don’t always hear are coming.

The structure of the show could be reworked in that when there’s a guest why not spin the wheel as well instead of devoting a whole show to only them?

Many fans would like to see some of the long time band members and back up singers be on as guests and give their input, share their stories.

    I think so... more
