The depth of topics is good and the insights are, at times, excellent. In particular, Max has a lovely way about him and good delivery. The other chap, Erik, comes across to me badly.
He loves laughing at his on jokes (cringe). Often critiques his co-host’s answers but not in a nice conversational way. It just feels arrogant and unnecessary. He spoils what would otherwise be a good podcast.
Have grown to love your podcast. I like to learn about references and you two do it in a very easy to listen to format. A Patek 5040G is my next target. I would never have known about it without you two. Great podcast and thank you for the time and effort putting it together.
You two are so interesting to listen to and you are obviously friends too. I always learn lots and I normally listen whilst driving so always look forward to clicking on the links afterwards. It’s a lot of work and costs money but the pod is brilliant 💪👌
binged this like a tv series in about three weeks god help my wallet (now know way more than i should about watches i can't afford)
Promise me you will never again mention a watch reference without also mentioning the brand - amazingly, you have some listeners who don’t speak fluent Patek or Rolex, and may never be able to afford one, and need a little help in knowing what you’re talking about.
Oh, and, one of my favourite watches happens to be a Seiko 5 with an open case back, which I would FAR rather have than a Rolex with palm trees on the dial!
