I also love these podcasts. Not only can I listen on the go, but the content is usually expanded or different in some way. Tony’s time with Hodinkee plus his previous experience with Eric Wind on Significant Watches (RIP) makes him a great interviewer or monologuer, unlike a lot of other single person recorded content.

  • Wonderful Mr Traina

Always enjoy hearing Mr Traina’s dulcet tones, and his insights into all things watches are more valuable to me than almost any other journo. Sits very comfortably on my most listened to watch podcasts along with Hairspring Watches and That Watch Podcast. Great stuff.

How to Sell a Watch (w/ Wes Wynne)
Q: What are the red flags to watch for when selling to dealers?
Look for transparency about who the dealer is, clear contracts or written terms for consignments, and references; beware of vague “about me” pages and unverified claims about legitimacy.
How to Sell a Watch (w/ Wes Wynne)
Q: How should a buyer/seller approach a dealer for a first-time selling relationship?
Initiate contact by email to set up a call, then move to a short phone conversation to assess trust, condition, and logistics; prioritize building a relationship with a few trusted dealers rather than scattering efforts.
How to Sell a Watch (w/ Wes Wynne)
Q: When is the right time to sell a watch?
Sell when you're not wearing it much and when you'd rather reallocate capital into pieces you'll derive more joy from; the market also dictates timing, with liquidity considerations guiding whether to sell or consign.
How to Actually Develop 'Good Taste' [Audio Edition]
Q: Any advice on acknowledging and being comfortable with what our actual taste is?
Understanding personal taste requires reflecting on what one genuinely enjoys versus what is influenced by external pressures.
How to Retail Watches in 2025 (Steven Holtzman, CD Peacock)
Q: What are your thoughts on the overall conversation about retailers, distributors, and brands working together?
Collaboration is key in ensuring all parties along the supply chain benefit equally, especially during times of market volatility.
