I want to start off saying I listen to this podcasts every episode and generally enjoy it! However I found the whole, I only want to talk about whats on the mat thing very disappointing! Jiu jitsu is community, and at the very least we need leaders, podcasters, gym owners to help guide and build that community! There have been several times where, there was a refusal to talk about “news” even though the news in question was pretty big, and important. This latest SA fallout is one of them. And yo... more
Maine interrupts everyone. I would award an extra star if he lets others talk. I can never make it past 10 minutes.
I would give an extra star on top of that if he pronounced names properly.
I would give it 5 stars if they changed the intro song.
These guys are amazing. Super reliable and they cover all the niche events that only nerds care about. I love that they don’t spend any time talking about fluff, annoying non-grappling topics. No weed talk, no aliens, etc. Just pure bjj talk. Would give this podcast 6 stars if I could. It’s my favorite bjj podcast by far.
I enjoy the content. Please include resources for those affected by assault if it’s a topic in the future episodes. RAINN is a great one, rainn.org could easily be included in your show notes.
