I’ve noticed a lot of victim blaming from Seth, blaming victims of abuse, instead of abusers is horrific. If that’s the way of Jesus then why would i follow him? I would rather support victims of abuse and violence and sexual assault and psychological abuse even if Seth says it’s not the way of Jesus, supporting the hurt and marginalized feels right in my soul. Why would I worship a Jesus who hates women and uses the enneagram to mock and demean women!? The enneagram is not based on any credible... more

Multiple elders and pastors have told us to vote for trump even though as of this weekend he is threatening to put all black and brown people and the poor and the disabled and all democrats into concentration camps. I asked about this was told we must be persecuted for Jesus. According to people at this church I deserve to be burned alive in a concentration camp because trump is their messiah not Jesus. This is the good news you’re... more
The David and Bathsheba sermon was the last straw for me. shook to hear a pastor at my place of worship refer to rape as a mistake, multiple times mind you. The pastor in this episode repeatedly says David’s rape of Bathsheba was a mistake and everyone makes mistakes. But they don’t consider abortion a mistake. Funny how that plays out. As a rape survivor I know I am not safe at this congregation
