  • My favorite podcast from a brewery in Pittsburgh!

Keep Honking: I’m complaining that Dancing Gnome stopped brewing Underscore because they are cowards

The brewer thinks he’s sophisticated because he reads Lonesome Dove and listens to bands you saw in the back of a City Paper playing at Rosebud in 2008.

The illegitimate son of Farva from Super Troopers and Goose from Top Gun complains about the 15% stouts he has no problem drinking on Saturdays in the fall.

  • First time, Long Time.

Great episode this month. It was interesting hearing things from another aspect of the beer world. I live in the eastern suburbs and don’t have as much time as I’d like to make it to 1025. I’ve noticed, especially over the last year, that there are a lot more DG options at my local distributor than ever before. Making it to the brewery is always the best option, but it’s nice to walk into my beer distributor and see 6 or 7 fresh DG options on the shelf. Love the show guys.

  • Leaning In…

Finally sharing that I’m a fan after catching up post summer and vacation season! The coffee guy during the August episode should lay off the juice BUT any DG related and/or adjacent content is great. Keep it up, guys!

  • Definitely good

Always fun getting an insight to what makes this amazing brewery tick and what ticks them off lol. Definitely appreciate that they care as much about their beer as the community they created around it. Cheers!

November 2025 with DG Boyz Matt Pyecha and Ryan Rusiski
Q: When do we get a South Hills Tap Room?
I never say never.
November 2025 with DG Boyz Matt Pyecha and Ryan Rusiski
Q: Do you evaluate hops based off of anything other than sensory?
I do look at the hops a little bit. I mean, visually, you can almost tell how hydrated they are, you know, you know, if they're maybe drier or older or something like that, especially if they're like a full cone.
November 2025 with DG Boyz Matt Pyecha and Ryan Rusiski
Q: What was the most memorable part of your first trip?
Checking out the farm, honestly. Going to the hop farm, that was great. Going out to Peralt, checking that out, seeing how they process everything, that was definitely the most memorable for me.
July 2024 with Steve Hartman of Hazel Grove Brewing
Q: Have you seen anyone from the community coming out?
Yes, everybody's been super psyched about the new breweries opening up.
July 2024 with Steve Hartman of Hazel Grove Brewing
Q: What are your plans with the beers?
We got an Amber, a Cold IPA, a Hazy Pale Ale, a Cezanne, and a couple of Belgian beers.
