I listened to this for about 20 mins and could not believe how many times he interrupted his guest and was super controlling of the conversation, but not in a good podcast host type of way. He’s so egotistical, honestly I had no idea. You got to chill out dude.
Billy Corgan has always been an entertaining interview, so it makes sense that he would interview others well. His interviewing skills have grown with this podcast. Some might complain that Corgan injects himself too much into the interviews, but if he is interesting and has spent so much of his life in the business, why shouldn’t he? The best comment I can make is that even the guests I’ve never heard of (or have no interest in) turn out to be interesting anyway.
I’ve enjoyed Billy’s music and the podcast is truly beautiful and honest. Billy hasn’t received credit for his honest opinions and cutting edge musical experience that I enjoy so much. If you haven’t given it a listen trust me it’s so good and entertaining.
Love this podcast. And even more now after the David Draiman interview. Kudos to Billy for having honest, real conversations.
Can’t believe Corgan would interview someone who signed artillery shells that killed civilians. Deeply deeply disappointed. Unsubscribing.
