Yessss! This interview was so satisfying. Love me some 90s gossip. I always found Sonic Youth boring and vapid, even though I tried to like them as a teen to be cool. I’ve also tried listening to interviews with Kim Gordon about her memoir but she’s so dull she makes my ears bleed. Courtney is never boring, always hilarious and ahead of her time. Loved this conversation even beyond the talking smack, thank you!
Love Billy but please let guests talk more with fewer interruptions….could be great!
The Courtney Love interview! Courtney remains the most vividly fascinating woman of our time (may she eventually give us her memoir). The rapport between Billy and Courtney is truly endearing. Remember that meme with the therapist and the client with the bubble thoughts above their heads? The therapist is creating a tidy neat ball of yarn (“I understand”) from the client’s unwound yarn ball (disorganized thoughts). No better person than Billy to interview our Queen! GREAT episode!
And I thought gene simmons gave Billy a run for his money! Could have been one of the coolest interviews ever. She has to be the hardest musician to to interview….EVER
In-depth discussions, so well documented and pleasing to listen to … thanks Billy !
