  • Strong 80s/90s coverage

Great podcast for anyone who worships 80s + 90s rock. There are times when I wish he’d venture outside that era and cover “newer” bands like rival sons, dirty honey and whoever else is keeping the metal torch lit.

  • Me, me, me,me,me is how he warms up for interviews.

I just wish this narcissist wouldn’t make it about himself. Trunk must remind you in every aspect of what he does that he knows everyone and everyone is his friend.

Please Edward, remind us for the umpteenth time that you saw KISS at Madison Square Garden on December16, 1977.

Well done Eddie, I too saw KISS in 1977 and was mesmerised by them through the seventies. Another great loss in my

musical journey icon. Be well sir.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Bret Michaels & Geoff Tate
Q: How did Mindcrime III come together as a solo project rather than a Queensrÿche continuation?
Geoff Tate explains that Mindcrime III was born from a desire to explore Dr. X's perspective and that working with Kieran Robertson and Alex Hart as a core team allowed the project to be shaped as a solo artist's vision rather than a band-led effort.
Rich Robinson & THE BAND FEEL
Q: Why release two EPs before a full-length album?
The Band Feel explain that releasing two EPs was a strategic move to introduce their evolving sound, test the market with touring, and build momentum toward a full-length debut that truly represents their current identity.
Twisted Sister & Wolfgang Van Halen
Q: Would you ever jump on stage with Hagar on the Best of All Worlds Tour or a Van Halen project?
Wolfgang explains he's focused on building his own path with Mammoth WVH, prefers not to play Van Halen material outside of his father's legacy, and envisions collaborations on his terms rather than stepping into past eras.
Joe Satriani, Steve Vai & John Taylor
Q: How did the SatchVai project come together and how was the recording process managed across locations?
The two guitarists describe a largely remote workflow with producers coordinating sessions from different cities, selecting session musicians tailored to each track, and gradually assembling the material toward a final master through a hands-on but distributed approach.
Zakk Wylde & Criss Angel
Q: What was your favorite moment that you spent with Ozzy?
It was always a ton of laughs; there were never any bad times. Just us cracking up laughing.
