  • Strong 80s/90s coverage

Great podcast for anyone who worships 80s + 90s rock. There are times when I wish he’d venture outside that era and cover “newer” bands like rival sons, dirty honey and whoever else is keeping the metal torch lit.

  • Me, me, me,me,me is how he warms up for interviews.

I just wish this narcissist wouldn’t make it about himself. Trunk must remind you in every aspect of what he does that he knows everyone and everyone is his friend.

Please Edward, remind us for the umpteenth time that you saw KISS at Madison Square Garden on December16, 1977.

Well done Eddie, I too saw KISS in 1977 and was mesmerised by them through the seventies. Another great loss in my

musical journey icon. Be well sir.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Tony Iommi & Carmine Appice
Q: What are your thoughts on AI in video and music production?
I personally haven't used AI to write or create music, but I'm open to AI-driven video work as long as the actual playing is real and the storytelling remains authentic.
Bryan Adams & Brian Setzer
Q: What can fans expect from the Bare Bones run in Vegas and beyond?
Adams describes intimate acoustic performances with minimal accompaniment, focusing on the songs as written and the storytelling that comes with performing with just guitar and voice, while acknowledging continuing touring and occasional full-band dates.
Neal Schon & Michael Anthony
Q: Are you considering a Journey biopic or documentary, and what would that look like?
There is strong interest in an active biopic, with suggestions for a Netflix-style approach that covers both the Genesis era and the later Journey years, indicating a major film or series is plausible if producers handle the history with care.
Neal Schon & Michael Anthony
Q: Is there any chance Journey will end, or is the story likely to continue in some form?
They discuss a potential end date for current touring versions, but emphasize that the musical story could persist through new projects, jam-oriented ventures, or branching off into related acts, suggesting a flexible, ongoing future for Journey-related music.
Jason Newsted & Phil Collins
Q: Phil, what did it mean to you to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist?
Phil reflects on the honor, the process of recognition, and how his solo work has stood alongside his Genesis career.
