..that I’m just going to say it - Bill Maher is a horrible person. Smug, whiny, off. Not remotely funny. Like RBG should have done, Bill should retire. No longer a fan.
I used to really enjoy listening to Bill Maher because he challenged both sides and at least attempted to come across as intellectually consistent. Lately, though, it feels like he contradicts his own principles depending on who he’s talking to. The episode with John Fetterman especially reinforced that for me. Instead of thoughtful political analysis, the conversation came across as shallow praise and performative agreement, particularly regarding Donald Trump.
