I’m a historian and I love that I can hear the stories of our people and still find out about new folks I hadn’t heard of before. The fact that Morgan and Vanessa are walking never fails to encourage me to lace up and walk: 15 minutes and 15 back, at a minimum. Keep doing your thing, ladies!
Morgan and Vanessa have given us something special, learning and the way toward joy AND justice. The prioritizing of Black women’s health by walking but with so much more is crucial for us. Much respect to these Black women leaders for their realness and their ability to organize.
