What a fascinating story! The “stars” of this story, Harry and Clementine Robinson, should be well known for their bravery in the face of institutionalized racism in the U.S. I love that the narrator was able to connect with this story and not just give his findings. Kudos to the hosts, researchers, and again, the stars of the show! May they rest well knowing that their story has been told with dignity and grace.
Amazing storytelling and great journalism. It offers an unprecedented way to approach history. I wish someone could do this kind of investigating for all the older homes in my town.
I loved hearing the story of Harry & Clementine. This is important story telling of American history. Really well done!!
I binged the series. It was engaging and informative. We all are aware of redlining and other ways racism has affected our society, but it really comes home when you are confronted by the stories of real people—real, hardworking people whose experience has been made so very much harder simply because of their skin tone.
I love to hear stories about ordinary, everyday people who not one would even ever hear about. Harry and Clementine could be any one of us right now. I wish I could hear more stories about real people who weren’t famous for some reason or other.
