Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 1: Spurs Great Sean Elliott
Q: Sean, does the home court matter? Does the venue that these games are taking place at make a difference?
Yes, the home crowd in San Antonio will energize the team, amplify their energy, and help younger players manage the playoff atmosphere, potentially making a meaningful difference in the series.
Hour 1: MSG South Philly
Q: Do you believe the Knicks can win the title this year?
The hosts suggest yes if they maintain elite consistency, leverage rest strategically, and continue strong defense and balanced scoring, but acknowledge the uncertainty of injuries and playoff intensity.
Hour 2: Most Obnoxious Fanbases
Q: Who is the most obnoxious fan base according to you?
Cowboys and Knicks fans are tied as the most obnoxious, with each host offering strong reasons and evidence from recent playoff runs and fan behavior.
Hour 3: Pathetic Performance
Q: Which game six was more surprising last night?
The hosts debated Minnesota eliminating Denver as the more surprising result given absence of key players and the momentum shift from the series, while acknowledging Boston-Philadelphia as a close second in uncertainty.
Hour 4: Rocket Credit
Q: How much pressure is on the Los Angeles Lakers to close it out tonight in six?
There is an incredible amount of pressure because history shows teams rarely, if ever, blow a 3-0 lead in the playoffs; closing in six is crucial to avoid a historic collapse and to set up a potential game seven on favorable terms.
