  • I’m out

The show is actually better and more enjoyable when Canty isn’t on it

  • I’d give it about a Thousand!

Honestly didn’t like sports radio much before this show. Now I catch it live when I can or catch up here when I missed out. I can appreciate the personalities speaking their truth, even if sometimes they’re crapping on my teams quite a bit (Smalls on the Jets especially). I love how inclusive this show is, especially with us professional wrestling fans. To those hating on that coverage, you’re free to listen to something else. If you choose not to acknowledge them (wink wink) as athletes, I’d in... more

  • Patriot way.

Suspend the head coach of the Patriots and cease using the term “Patriots fan” if you are unwilling to report on your team’s activities due to a personal relationship with the reporter. This is why we will not refer to sport journalists as “true journalists.”

  • Canty on maternity leave

You’d think they could find somebody who at least has a pulse to fill in for Canty while he’s out for weeks on end with his kid. Are they afraid the show would be better with someone who actually has an original opinion?

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 3: Sal Paolantonio, ESPN NFL Reporter joins the show
Q: Why do you think AJ Brown was unhappy with Philadelphia last year?
Sal explained that it was largely about involvement in the passing game and the relationship with the quarterback, arguing that the dynamic between Hurts and Brown influenced both on-field production and team chemistry, and that coaching decisions played a major role.
Best of UnSportsmanLike 8/25/26
Q: What went into the decision to name Deshaun Watson starting quarterback for the Browns?
Adam Schefter explained that the Browns weighed on-field performance across the summer, the need for stability on road openers, and the overall body of work, including coaching and management's view, ultimately favoring Watson despite prior concerns and off-field issues.
Hour 3: Adam Schefter, ESPN Sr. NFL Insider joins the show!
Q: What did you think about the Ty Simpson preseason showing and what it means for the Rams or other teams?
Schefter indicated Ty Simpson looked like he belonged in preseason and suggested continued watching in Week 2-3 to determine if he can take a bigger role, while cautioning against overreacting to a single game.
Hour 4: Ryan Kalil, 5x Pro Bowler/3x All-Pro Center joins the show!
Q: What inspired the Osos Monterey ownership venture?
Kalil explains that the idea grew from a shared love of the game among former teammates and friends, and the appeal of telling their story through a docu-series while exploring ownership opportunities.
Hour 4: Buster Olney joins the show
Q: What makes a good ceremonial first pitch, and how should Canty approach it given past experiences?
Focus on comfort and pacing rather than velocity; use a controlled, smooth toss from a chosen distance, and defer to a catcher if you're unsure about the position.
