  • I’m out

The show is actually better and more enjoyable when Canty isn’t on it

  • I’d give it about a Thousand!

Honestly didn’t like sports radio much before this show. Now I catch it live when I can or catch up here when I missed out. I can appreciate the personalities speaking their truth, even if sometimes they’re crapping on my teams quite a bit (Smalls on the Jets especially). I love how inclusive this show is, especially with us professional wrestling fans. To those hating on that coverage, you’re free to listen to something else. If you choose not to acknowledge them (wink wink) as athletes, I’d in... more

  • Patriot way.

Suspend the head coach of the Patriots and cease using the term “Patriots fan” if you are unwilling to report on your team’s activities due to a personal relationship with the reporter. This is why we will not refer to sport journalists as “true journalists.”

  • Canty on maternity leave

You’d think they could find somebody who at least has a pulse to fill in for Canty while he’s out for weeks on end with his kid. Are they afraid the show would be better with someone who actually has an original opinion?

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 4: Terrell Davis
Q: What impact would LeBron's move to Philly have on the competition in the league, and how might it affect the Lakers and Warriors going forward?
The discussion centers on LeBron's value, cost, and fit, with a prevailing view that such a move would dramatically alter the championship calculus, raise the stakes for other teams to respond, and intensify cross-town dialogue about legacy and timing; the panel also considers the long-term strategic fit for a 38- or 39-year-old star in a compressed title window.
Hour 4: Gabby Thomas joins the show
Q: What's been one of the coolest things you've gotten to do because of your athletic skill set that you thought, wow, I never thought that this would be on the table for me?
Gabby responds that the Vogue cover stands out as a remarkable, unexpected opportunity that made her feel confident and beautiful, despite not being a model by training, and she highlights the overall excitement of those experiences.
Hour 4: Lil Wayne & Howard Charles join the show
Q: How involved is 50 Cent in Fightland and why is that important?
Howard Charles explains that 50 Cent is very involved at every stage, acts as a true executive producer, and brings immersive leadership and wisdom that contribute to the show's success beyond a vanity credit.
Hour 4: Lil Wayne & Howard Charles join the show
Q: Is Jordan Love a top-10 quarterback in your view, given ESPN's top-10 list?
Wayne affirms that he believes Jordan Love is a top-10 quarterback, while acknowledging the debate and suggesting a placement around 11-13 if not listed, and emphasizing the need for a big season to solidify that standing.
Best of UnSportsmanLike: Lil Wayne joins the show! 7/21/26
Q: What are Wayne's latest projects and how do they integrate with his sports and music career?
Wayne discusses his Joint Venture podcast with Craig Carton, his sports-focused initiatives, and his broader entertainment ventures, illustrating a diversified strategy beyond just music.
